BICYCLE HIRE AGREEMENT
- I have inspected the bicycle prior to signing this agreement and have checked it is in a satisfactory and safe condition and fit for purpose.
- I agree to ride responsibly following the rules of the highway code and will not attempt any manoeuvres beyond my skill level or the bike’s specific capabilities.
- I agree to use front and rear lights during hours of reduced daylight and night-time.
- I fully indemnify Cycle Fix London against injury to myself or any third party. I recognise that cycling can be dangerous and acknowledge the risks involved including personal injury and death.
- I declare that I am in good health and my eyesight is up to the standard required for a road driving test and that I am a competent cyclist.
- I understand that I am strongly advised to wear a helmet and other appropriate safety equipment and clothing.
- I declare I am not suffering from any medical conditions or disability which is likely to adversely affect the normal control of the bicycle and I will not use the bicycle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- I understand that in event of a mechanical failure other than punctures, Cycle Fix London will offer a collection service but reserves the right to charge a fee.
- I accept complete responsibility, during the period of hire, for the safe custody of the hire bicycle and any loss, theft or damage (howsoever caused). I will be liable for the cost of any necessary repair or replacement for the hire bicycle up to £250.00.
- I agree that any loss, theft or damage caused to the hire bicycle will be paid for by myself in full to Cycle Fix London before I can collect my own bicycle.
