Sintered metal compound disc brake pads from Aztec, supplied in the gold AZ Sint version, one size. Sintered compounds have a higher thermal threshold, so there is less brake fade under heavy braking, and the harder compound lasts longer while performing well in wet and muddy conditions. The backing plate is stiff and corrosion resistant, and Aztec state the pads are race tested and made to the highest standards.
These suit racers and anyone who wants high performance braking on or off road, and they are a replacement for worn pads rather than an upgrade to your lever feel alone.
