Aztec's organic compound replacement disc brake pads, made for Avid Elixir. Organic pads are the quieter, more rotor friendly choice compared with sintered, with noticeably better initial bite in the dry, so they suit riders who want confident, low noise braking on spring and summer roads and trails. The trade off is durability, since the softer compound wears faster than a sintered pad. They are developed and tested for UK riding conditions and work well across the board, with a stiff, corrosion resistant backing plate to keep the pad supported and stable.
