A pair of replacement disc brake pads from Aztec using an e-bike specific compound, listed in the Sram DB fitment and supplied as one size. The compound is built for the extra speed and weight an e-bike carries, giving around 30% longer lifespan than a standard pad, and it works well in all conditions on or off road. Braking feel is smooth rather than grabby, which helps on heavier eMTBs in low traction conditions and on fully loaded e-cargo bikes. The backing plate is stiff and corrosion resistant.
You do not need an e-bike to benefit, they suit any rider who wants gentler modulation and fewer pad changes. We have them on the shelf at our Kennington workshop for free click and collect, and our mechanics can fit and bed them in the same day.
