A replacement inner brake cable from Clarks with a pear nipple end, made from stainless steel and listed for road use. It measures 2000mm, so there is plenty of length to run and trim to your setup, and it is sold individually, which means one cable per lever if you are refreshing front and rear.
Stainless steel resists corrosion, useful on a bike that lives outdoors or gets ridden through a British winter, and a fresh inner is often all it takes to bring back a vague, sticky brake. Check that your levers take a pear nipple before ordering.
