Half link construction is the point of the KMC HL1 Wide. Because every link is the same shape, you can shorten the chain half a link at a time, so if you are running a single speed setup on a bike with vertical dropouts you can get the wheel sitting exactly where you want it without compromising on chain length. It comes in 1/2 inch x 1/8 inch, 100 links, with a 9.5mm pin length, and weighs 384g. KMC list it as compatible with BMX and freestyle.
The silver nickel-plated finish adds hardness and corrosion resistance, so it holds up to wet road grime as well as looking smart. We have it on the shelf in Kennington for free click and collect, and our mechanics can measure and fit it for you the same day if you would rather not size it yourself.
