The MP Elite is M Part's top of the range headset, in black, to the EC30/25.4 24TPI and EC30/27 standards. The cups are CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and the quad sealed angular contact bearings sit in a double sealed housing with flush seal technology, which is aimed squarely at keeping British weather out of the bearings. Stack height is a low 27mm and the claimed weight is 92g, based on a 1 1/8in threadless headset with a steel crown. An alloy top cap and star-fangled nut are included, and the expanding collar design is intended to hold its adjustment once tightened.
It carries a 3 year manufacturing warranty, with spares support and replacement R411 bearings (30x39x6.5 45x45). We have it on the shelf in Kennington for free click and collect, and our mechanics can press and set it up for you the same day.
