M Part's Essential bar tape comes in brown and uses a micro-fibre compound that stays grippy, which is the point of a tape developed in the UK for an inhospitable and wet environment. It is lightweight and breathable, so it is a sensible choice if you ride year round and want your hands to stay put when the bars are soaked. The same tape is used on Genesis bikes.
Bar end plugs and adhesive fixing tape are in the box, so you have everything needed to finish the job once the old wrap comes off. Good if your current tape has gone hard, grubby or is unravelling at the lever hoods. We have it on the shelf in Kennington for free click and collect, and our mechanics can wrap it for you the same day if you would rather not.
