A fully bled Shimano SLX M7120 hydraulic disc brake for the rear, post mount, in grey, with the lever set up for the left hand. The four oversized phenolic pistons are chosen for heat insulation, low weight and stiffness, and the short stroke Servo-Wave mechanism brings the pads on quickly and adds power for more aggressive riding. The calliper is forged for rigidity, the lever is forged alloy, and it runs mineral oil, which is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic fluid.
It arrives as lever and calliper only, without adapters or rotors, so you choose those to suit your bike. Shimano recommend Ice Tech rotors in 140, 160, 180 or 203 mm, and Ice Tech alloy fin pads for better heat radiation. We have it on the shelf in Kennington for free click and collect, and our mechanics can fit it the same day.
