The Shimano SLM8130 XT is a right hand trigger shifter for 11-speed LINKGLIDE transmissions only, so check that is what your drivetrain uses before ordering. Shimano's Vivid indexing keeps the lever force consistent across all 11 sprockets, and 2-Way release lets the upper lever swing in either direction so you can shift with either thumb or index finger. Instant release is there too for quick single shifts.
Inside, a multi-bearing design with two ball bearing units keeps the action low friction, while the one piece lower alloy thumb release lever has an anti-slip surface for sharp, precise shifts. The supplier lists it as an I-Spec EV design intended to attach directly to I-Spec EV brake levers.
