A Shimano RS300 rear clincher wheel in black, 700c, built to a 24 mm high profile rim. The rear is laced radially with 20 stainless steel butted and bladed straight pull spokes, and those elbow-less spokes give a strong yet compliant wheel, with wide flange spacing adding lateral rigidity. The hub shell has an anodized finish and runs angular contact bearings that cradle the balls for radial and lateral support, plus precision adjustment and straightforward maintenance. Labyrinth and contact seals keep water, mud and dirt out without dragging.
Shimano list it as 8, 9, 10 and 11 speed compatible, and it comes with a quick release skewer, so it suits a rider replacing a tired rear wheel or upgrading a stock one. We have it on the shelf in Kennington for free click and collect, and our mechanics can build it into your bike the same day.
