The SRAM GXP Team PressFit Road BB86 is a press-in bottom bracket, a variant of the external bottom bracket where the bearing cups are pressed into the frame rather than threaded in. That makes installation more straightforward, and PressFit cuts weight by up to 40 grams. There is no change to the crank, as spindle length and diameter remain the same, so a move to PressFit does not mean a new chainset.
