A silver alloy raiser that converts bikes running a quill stem system so they can take aheadset type stems. It is made from 6061-T6 alloy, and the supplied specification covers 1 1/8" x 1" and 1 1/8" x 1 1/8", the latter using the shim included in the box. Combined with a high-rise stem it also lifts the handlebars, so it is a useful route to a taller, more upright riding position without changing the whole front end.
