How Much Does a Bike Service Cost in London?

Back to Blog

Wondering what a bike service should cost in London? Here are our actual workshop prices, the same ones we charge at the counter at 338 Kennington Road. No call-out fees, no surprises, and every service is completed the same day you drop off.

Our service prices

  • Safety Check, £60. A full inspection of brakes, gears, wheels, tyres and contact points, with minor adjustments included.
  • Single Speed Full Service, £120. Everything a fixie or single speed needs, stripped back and set up properly.
  • General Service, £150. A thorough tune covering gears, brakes, bearings check, tyre inspection and a wipe down.
  • CFL Full Service, £180. Our most complete service: drivetrain deep clean, full adjustment of gears and brakes, bearing checks, wheel truing and a safety sign-off.
  • Brompton Full Service, £180. The full works, tailored to folding bikes.

What about individual repairs?

Not everything needs a full service. Common one-off jobs like a puncture fix, a brake adjust or a gear index typically run between £10 and £50 depending on the job, and we quote before we start. You can see the full menu on our repair prices page, and if a part is needed we fit what we sell at fair retail prices.

Why prices vary between shops

Cheaper services often mean a quick once-over rather than real workshop time. Ours include labour by qualified mechanics, genuine parts when replacements are needed, and a test ride before handover. If we find something serious mid-service, we call you before doing any extra work.

Same day, every day

Every workshop service at Cycle Fix London is same day. Drop your bike in the morning and ride home in the evening. Booking online takes two minutes and secures your slot with a £30 deposit that comes off your final bill.
