Puncture Repairs in London

Back on the Road in 20 Minutes

A puncture is one of the most common reasons cyclists visit our Kennington workshop. Whether you've picked up glass on the CS7 or hit a pothole on Kennington Road, we can usually have you rolling again within 20 minutes. We carry a wide range of inner tubes and tyres in stock. Every puncture repair includes inspecting the tyre for embedded debris, checking the rim tape, and making sure the valve seats properly.

Tube Replacement vs Patch Repair

For commuter bikes we generally recommend a fresh inner tube rather than patching. A new tube is more reliable for daily riding and the small price difference buys peace of mind. We keep tubes for 700c, 26", 27.5", and 20" wheels ready to fit on the spot.

Tubeless Tyre Repairs

If your bike runs tubeless tyres, we can reseat and top up the sealant, or plug a larger puncture using tyre plugs. We stock sealant from leading brands and can convert compatible rims and tyres to tubeless to reduce puncture risk going forward.

Preventing Punctures on London Roads

London streets are hard on tyres. We recommend puncture-resistant tyres such as the Schwalbe Marathon or Continental Gatorskin for commuters. Keeping tyre pressure within the recommended range also makes a big difference. Under-inflated tyres pinch-flat more easily.
